QUICK ANSWER / THE ESSENTIALS

Quick Answer

Our editorial policy defines how an independent Windows game guide can give useful answers with clear sourcing, honest limits and no implication of publisher affiliation.

Editorial independence and ownership

Nightfall PC Guide is owned and published by Stella Anderson. Editorial coverage is not written on behalf of Techland or any game publisher. Dying Light game names are used for identification and criticism, not to suggest sponsorship. At the time of this publication we do not accept payments for favorable coverage and do not use affiliate game-purchase links.

Purpose, audience and article format

Our intended reader is a new or returning Windows PC player seeking a clear answer about a game, a survival choice, a movement mechanic, or ordinary performance troubleshooting. Articles begin with a short answer when appropriate, then give supporting explanation, limitations and related internal reading. Short answers do not replace the detail needed to make safe decisions.

How we assess factual claims

Game title, protagonist, setting and platform statements should be verified against reliable publisher information, public release documentation or established storefront specifications where practical. Distinguish confirmed product information from an editorial interpretation. Advice that applies to games generally must not be presented as tested in a specific Dying Light build.

Sources, citations and conflicting information

Prioritize primary publisher or platform documentation for dates, PC requirements, patches and features. If secondary material is used, look for independent corroboration. A webpage that lacks a cited benchmark is not evidence of a measured FPS result. When published sources disagree or a version changes, say what is uncertain rather than guessing.

Practical recommendations and conflicts

We favor reversible, supported steps for Windows troubleshooting. We do not recommend obtaining unverified executables, changing security protections without a justified reason or editing system files as a generic fix. Any future sponsorship, affiliate relationship, free review access or material conflict should be disclosed in the affected content rather than hidden.

Clear distinction between experience and research

A research-based explainer is not a hands-on review. We do not claim to have played through a mission, measured hardware performance or tested co-op sessions unless reproducible evidence and a clearly described test environment exist. A guide may still be useful as a researched checklist if labeled correctly.

Updates and corrections

We date editorial pieces and revise outdated statements when a substantive game update, new reliable information or credible reader correction calls for it. A material correction should change the affected passage, not merely append an unsupported reassurance. For corrections, email info@nightfallpcguide.top with the URL, exact passage and reason.

Use of artwork and trademarks

The site uses original cinematic illustrations rather than representing them as official Dying Light screenshots. Brand names and titles appear in a descriptive and nominative context. We do not reproduce logos or official-page layouts as if we were Techland.

Privacy and reader trust

We do not require an account or payment to read guides. The privacy and cookie pages describe technical processing and consent choices. Editorial inquiries should never include passwords, game account recovery codes or financial information.
